Class Update 8/5

Genesis Class,

On Sunday, we broke into small groups and answered a quiz about our
Christian beliefs. After that we discussed and found out some
pretty interesting differences and similarities among the group. We
had a great turnout in our new classroom...20 people! The room is great with two
doors, no chairs in front of the door, more on the main hallway, and
plenty of space. If anyone would like to help Blaire move the
bulletin board just let her know.

We had another new couple visit us this week. They are currently
visiting FUMCR and checking out all of the Sunday School classes.
Welcome to Daniel and Kimie Pruessner. We are so glad you joined us
and hope to see you again on Sunday!

This Sunday Jeff and I will be in Jamaica, the following Sunday we
will be in Houston for a wedding, and the following Sunday in Houston
for my sister's baby shower. If anyone would be willing to take
attendance, pass around announcements, and send out a brief summary
while we are away that would be great! You can even send me a quick
summary of class, and I will send the group email.

Socials: Watch for an email from KJ about a chili social with maybe
some football in there. She will be needing input regarding dates.

Missions: Let Brad M. know if you have a preference for a Saturday of
Habitat between September 11th and November 20th.
