Class Update 8/8/10

Genesis Class,

Last week the Wrights continued our series Surprised by Hope. This
week they will finish up the series.

Regarding the possible time/room change, we found out that there is a
Bible School for kids 3 and up at 11am. It's a little different from
9:45, but there is somewhere for them to go. Thank you all for your
feedback. After counting the votes, the best plan for the class as a
whole is to stay at 11am and discuss the issue further down the road.
I will go ahead and request a larger classroom, though.

We discussed a possible social for September or October when the
weather gets a little cooler, which might include grilling, picnic,
park, etc. at either White Rock Lake or our neighborhood, Sprink Park.
Let the Wrights know if you have any other social ideas.

Body & Soul will start September 19 2-4pm. We need 10 volunteers from
our class and have committed to once every other month. Email Brad M.
if you would like to go.

Joys and Concerns:
Rebecca and Brandon were headed to Austin last Sunday as her sister
was in labor.
Emily (Kim and Price's) daughter was baptized last Sunday.
Christy is on bedrest and could deliver at any time.
