This past Sunday we continued the Surprised by Hope series with a discussion about the resurrection. Ben and Ashley will continue the series this week.

Joys and Concerns:
-Ben's dad had a big surgery on his foot and has gotten to go home but his recovery continues and he struggles with mobility, especially living in New York.
-Heath and Courtney's 2 year-old son Slate suffered a massive stroke and was admitted to Children's downtown Sunday night. He continues to improve but is still undergoing tests and treatments. A care calendar with updates has been set up for them by Courtney's cousin.

-Brayden Ford was born Monday, July 19 at 4:21pm to proud parents Brad and Kristin. They are expected to go home tomorrow. They also have a care calendar.

-Jeff's granddad was readmitted to the hospital this evening.
God's presence has truly been felt in the Genesis Class this week! We have such an amazing group so full of faith, love, and support!
Jeff and I will be out of town this weekend but hope to see everyone at the pool party!
